"There's no mistaking the similarity between Extra Gloss and past winner Gloss Guard, but somehow Turtle Wax has made this Platinum version even tougher. It goes on as easily as its stablemate, but from the start it had the edge, beading water noticeably faster. And it never stopped, as even weeks after our test was completed, a quirk check revealed it was still protecting our test bonnet. Older paintwork may need polishing first (Use Comma Car Polish), but our scrapyard panels weren't pre-treated and it still worked like a dream. A great winner."
